Tunisia Ratifies the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances

Tunisia, which was one of the countries that signed the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances when it was adopted on 26 June 2012, has now ratified this Treaty. The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) has given notice (which can be accessed here) that Tunisia deposited its instrument of ratification with WIPO on 21 July 2016. The Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances is focused on the intellectual property rights of performers in audiovisual performances such as movies and other motion pictures, as well as in live performances.
